If you cannot make nut pate, it’s really good with alfafa and hummus!!
How to make nut pate:
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (soak for 2 hours)
- 1/4 cup walnuts (soak for 2 hours, if possible)
- 1 tbsp of lemon juice
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds (soak for 2 hours)
- 1 tbsp of raw olive oil/ hemp seed/ nut oil.
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Add to blender or food processor and process on low speed to make a thick pate consistency.
Roll nut pate and vegetables in Nori rolls, then leave to sit for 10 minutes to allow the mixture to set. Use some nut pate to make the nori sheets stick together at the end.
***Tip: Don’t add too much to roll first time, it might come out at the end. ***
Use a very sharp knife to cut into bite size bits.
